YOUTH Firm® Age Defying Peel harnesses an exclusive formulation with a 30% Protease Enzyme engineered to mimic the skin’s own naturally occurring Cathepsin-D. This aids in the facilitating AHA peel results without the wounding. A great peel year-round as it has been proven in-clinic to produce less than 5% photosensitivity.

INGREDIENTS

Protease Enzyme: This is a proprietary ingredient
exclusive to GlyMed Plus. Derived from mushroom,
it mimics the Cathepsin-D Enzyme found naturally in
our skin, which assists in normal shedding of dead
skin cells. It will detach desmosomes one at a time
to increase exfoliation.

Citric Acid: Acts like an antioxidant slowing down
the aging process, and assists in regeneration of
skin tissue, as well.

Hyaluronic Acid: Increases water content and helps
assist against transepidermal water loss. It can hold
up to 1000 times its weight in water.

Ascorbyl Glucoside: Acts as a co-enzyme for
enzymes involved in collagen synthesis and
inhibiting the synthesis of melanin. Contains high
antioxidant activity.

How to use

This masque works best in an acidic environment so
it is recommended to use Glycolic Facial Cleanser
with 10% Glycolic Acid first. Apply masque to face,
neck, and décolleté. Might feel a slight tingle and see
increased circulation. Leave on 5–7 minutes and then
remove with tepid water. Can be used once a week.
